Price Paid: $150.00 from audiogon
tmc auction Summary:
I dont know why the reviews for these cables on this site have been
few and far between recently as they remain an outstanding 'price no
object' option. They are neutral (very revealing of source
variations) and extremely quiet (ie no hiss) . Accordingly they are
capable of making a hi fi sound more like an ensemble...they let the
detail through with an outstanding 3d quality and spaciousness
crucial to more closely replicating live music. I have recently
switched my entire cabling system to TMC from a much more expensive
audioquest/acoustic zen combination and as per earlier audio
industry reviewers of TMC I have settled on this as it provides the
most satisfying presentation I have ever experienced from my sytem .
Audiophoolery is of course a subjective pursuit but the parameters
that generally matter to the music lover and the audiophile are
nailed by a tmc system. Youre welcome to check out my review on the
Gold speaker cabling and the new tmc blue 75ohm dedicated digital
cable in the Gold review section. I am not affiliated with TMC....I
dont write reviews that are not part of my professional life because
of time pressure.... this is written because a small company is
providing an outstanding product at an excellent price which is
devoid of the usual advertising mark up.
Strengths:
neutral, absolutely silent background,soundstaging masters
Weaknesses:
Not expensive enough

Price Paid: $125.00 from used
Summary:
Please see my review for the TMC Gold speaker cable as the same
attributes apply for these. The yellow is the slightly warmer and
relaxed version of the TMC white IC.
Used together in a system (Gold, yellow, white) the TMC cables
provide a very natural open sound with enough detail & inner resolution
to satisfy the audiophile in me. These are truely a music lovers cable.
I highly recommend the TMC cables, an absolute audio bargain. But
the yellow is probably not the cable for someone who wants an extremely
detailed sound.
Used with my new budget setup:

Strengths:
Great natural & open 3D soundfield at a great price.
Weaknesses:

Within five seconds of listening to my Wendy Rule CD with these
connectors, Ive gone wow. The clarity and detail was just amazing.
After reading many newsgroups from people saying that interconnects
make no difference to sound quality I purchased these cables mostly
for piece of mind, but was totally knocked over by the sound
difference as I am now hearing details in music tracks that I havn't
noticed before. The shielding does make the cables stiff but they
can be easily shaped before fitting and caused no problems, they
have instructions on their web site if anybody concerned with this.

Pines Price Paid: $600 at TMC Direct
Product Model Year:
2003
Summary:
I have been meaning to write this review for weeks now, but these
cables just kept getting better and better. I originaly just wanted
to change the 7m PAD Colossus I was using betweem my preamp and tube
mono blocs, they were a little too long, but mostly I had gotten
tired of the silver sound with limited bass. So in my search for a
good all copper replacement, I saw a add for the TMC cables and
decided to check them out.
Based only on the reviews, and the use of a solid copper tube for
the shield, I took the plunge and ordered a complete set.
I got the cables about a week later, and placed them in the HT
system which is allways on so they could burn in as fast as posible
before putting them in the High end system. After about 100 hours I
moved them one by one to the other system. First the White lables
for the tuner to the preamp, then from the Sony SACD player to the
preamp. These both made a tremendous difference over the Monster
M1000i that they replaced, especially with the SACD, which I felt
would be hard to improve. The bass got solid and deeper, the
midrange sounded even more natural and analog like, and I couldn't
wait to hear what the 5.5m run to the monos would sound like.
I decided I would do them the next day, for a few reasons, to give
my expensive PAD water cables a little more time to show its best
with the changes I made upstream, but also because I realized that
these TMC cables are not ment to be rushed in anyway as all finer
things never are. Just as they take their own time to burn in
sonicly, they need time and patience to be installed phsically.
I was a bit afraid to bend them at first, but after I tried it they
just shaped right into place and stayed where you placed them. No
saging, drooping,
tangling, just nice loops and curves. No need to bunch them up next
to the power cords to make them tidy, they just stand on their own
period.
Well the next day I rolled out the 5.5m, and gently routed them
between the Preamp and the monos, turned the system on and as I
waited for things to warm up with the preamp still muted, I noticed
a silence I had never heard before. Not a blacker back ground, or
lower noise floor that you are not really sure what caused, but a
dead silence from the system, with your ears right up to the
tweeter, like the systm is not even on. I had to double check. Even
with the mute off, nothing playing, It was dead silent. Before, with
all other cables you could always hear a high level hisss coming
from the tweeters up close.
The copper tubing really blocks out ALL interferance.
That alone did it for me,I knew a cable this quiet had to sound
great, and I certainly wasn't disapointed.
The Yellow lables sounded great from top to bottom, I had all the
highs the silver cables gave, with rich deep bass that it was
missing. The sound stage expanded with a warmth it never had before.
These cables have it all at a down to earth price. I can truely say
my search is over, I don't see myself changing cables again. Even if
they should take second place to any other rediculously priced water
hose, these copper pipes ARE the ultimate in shielding.
Strengths:
Shielding, performance and price.
Weaknesses:
Locking RCAs tend to come loose. Would be willing to pay extra for
better choice.

Summary:
For the price this is a good interconnect but you will have to go
elsewhere and pay a little to a lot more to get very high
performance. These TMC's do compete with some interconnects up to
$500 range although are bested by others in this price range as
well. I hooked them up between my CD/pre (TMC White) and tubepre/tube
amp (TMC Yellow). They do certain things well namely soundstaging
and lowering the noise floor. They produce a nice black background.
They provide a spacious and clear sound with good dynamics and good
bandwidth. Where they don't shine is in the area of soundstage depth
(only average), they seem slightly aggressive in the midrange and
highs, lacking smoothness and this results in a loss of detail. Bass
frequencies are tightened up but only slightly. Overall I would say
that they provide a very good price performance ratio. The cables
are very stiff and the locking RCA connectors are not of the best
quality.

Summary:
I've been promising King I'd get to this, so here it is. Since first
trying out TMC cables on a whim about a year ago, I have outfitted
my entire system with them... and haven't worried about wire since!
Cables make a difference, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. The
trick is finding a cable that fits your system without costing twice
your front end.
I tried TMC purely by word of mouth and the reviews posted here.
Simply put, I don't think you can do better for 2-3x the price! I
listen to primarily jazz, so acoustic presentation, truth of timbre,
and clarlity are vital. I get all of this with TMC. I had some very
pricey Cardas (and others) that TMC either equalled or bettered!
Mids are fantastic, bass is taught and firm... bass notes are just
that, and not a collection of low end thumps. Voices (and guitar and
piano) are wonderfully presented... check out some Jeff Buckley or
Bill Evans and you will so notice a difference. The yellow lable is
my preferred choice... both for amp-pre and for source components.
It takes awhile to break in, but gives a sonically whole
presentation of all the many kinds of music I listen to. The white
lable are also terrific, and I use them on my tuner, and am hoping
to get a phono cable made from one.
Bottom line -- they're too cheap not to try, and when you do, you'll
be ever so glad you did! My system includes:
Vandersteen 3A Signatures
Quicksilver V-4 monoblocks with KT-90s
Heart CD 6000
Eurolab Premier with Morch DP-6 and Benz
Strengths:
top to bottom coherence, great timbre, VERY musical.
Weaknesses:
OK, the locking connectors on the ICs are a little weak. I had one
damaged in shipment, but King is great, and sent a replacement on my
word alone. Speaker cable spades are a little lame too. I know this
keeps cost down, but I'd be willing to spend extra for something
better. NOT a reason not to get them though!!

Summary:
I am using this same review for the Gold, Yellow, White and XLR
cables. I bought them all at the same time so that is the best I can
do.
Previously I used Monster cable 10Gage speaker cable and Audioquest
Coral interconnects. I had read all the hype about interconnects and
speaker cable, but never fully bought into it. I decided to go with
TMC because of all the positive feedback on Audioreview and because
their cables are fairly reasonably priced.
Before you buy these cables go to Audiogon.com and look at the
auction prices. They are usually less than the price on there web
page. It takes about a week to receive your order. Not bad for
coming from Australia.
Right out of the box I noticed the imaging and sound stage had
improved. It was like using a completely different set of speakers.
I had no idea cables could make this much difference in sound
placement. The high end is much more prevalent. The symbols were
clearer and more defined. I noticed things I had never heard before.
Initially the bass response was diminished. I was a little
disappointed, but had heard that these cables take time to break in,
so I left everything in place.
After about two weeks of watching TV, DVDs, and listened to all
kinds of music, I noticed a change. All the sudden the bass was
back.
These cables sound great. They made a huge improvement in my system.
I had read all the reviews and expected these cables to be stiff,
but not this stiff. I couldn’t put the back on my rack, it just
doesn’t fit. Worse than that, they damaged my DVD player. With the
locking RCAs you have to be careful. They stay connected! I moved my
DVD player around trying to get the back on my rack and it stopped
working. Now I have to jiggle the back of the player to get sound.
Be careful!
I used the Yellow Cables for my CD player the XLRs between my amp
and pre-amp and the Whites for digital and obviously the Gold for
the speakers. I may change this some day, but for now I am very
happy with the sound.

Summary:
This is a surprisingly good cable for its price. It is one of the
most musical cables I have ever used. It produces a large sound
stage, a very sweet midrange and a big bass. I suspect the midrange
is a bit exaggerated (in a nice way) and the big bass sounds a bit
loose (in a tolerable way). The soundstage is large, but it is not
the most precise. For a mid-level system, this cable can be a very
competent choice and will sound better than many more expensive
cables. But if you are looking for precision, definition and detail,
you will probably need to look elsewhere and spend more...quite a
bit more.

Well after almost two months I have finally come around to A/B this
vs the White label on my Cary CD player. Originally I thought that
the White Label was a better cable, however the Yellow just takes a
bit longer to burn in. The White label sounds terrific after only a
couple of hours while the Yellow label still sounded a litte bit
harsh until further burn-in. After doing an A/B comparison of the
two I find that the Yellow is more dynamic and resolute in my system
while still maintaining the smoothness throughout the music
spectrum. It actually depends on the quality of your system, the
difference may range from subtle to quite noticable. They are both
very very good cables that compete with others that are much more
expensive. (I actually preferred the White in my system to the
Audioquest Diamond Hyperlitz that an audiophile friend loaned me) He
loves the Yellow and will use it on his CD player. I will keep the
Yellow on my CD player and have just moved the White to my tuner. I
will be adding another White label to my Lehmann Black Cube. I also
have the TMC speaker cable. My advice is to buy the 2 pack (Yellow
and White) and try them in your system, unless you are on a tight
budget. In that case spend the extra bucks for the Yellow. All I
need now is to get a 5 meter Yellow for my pre/amp to amps! What

interconnects as far as sound goes. Great reproduction of the
source, great fidelity and beautifully made.
But they are just too stiff. They are impossible to manage
correctly. If your elements are too close together you will need
lots of room behind to accomadate the extra length. So these
interconnects are good ONLY if the distance between your elements
are EXACTLY the same as their length. Otherwise, good luck.
A real pity.

I bought these less than a month ago, planning to use them on an

them between my CD changer and receiver, comparing them to Monster
Interlink 400 Mk II's (no comparison to the other cables used, but
it was what I'd been using for years), TMC White Label (see my
review of the TMC White Labels, which I also experimented with
between VCR and receiver and as a digital coax cable from my DVD
player), and a pair of Magnan Type Vi's. The White Labels did a good
job, but when compared to the Type Vi's and the Yellow Labels they
seemed a bit "hollow" (for lack of a better word). The Type Vi's and
Yellow Labels are both great cables, but I was surprised to find
that they Yellow Labels sounded better to me on my gear than the
Type Vi's did -- the balance of bass, mids, and highs was more even
with the Yellow Labels, whereas the Type Vi's seemed to be a little
bass-heavy on my system.
The Yellow Labels have temporarily moved to the main channels of my
new five-channel amp, and the Magnans are back on my CD changer, but
I am about to buy some more Yellow Label for the CD changer and
possibly the center channel amplification and digital coax from the
DVD player. Great cable, at a great price.

Summary:
I decided to upgrade my home theater system so I started searching
for the perfect cable. I wanted Transparent only because I heard
that that was the best. I auditioned it and didn't like it because
it was just too bright for my liking.
I then researched Harmonic Technologies' Pro-Silway. I was also
researching speakers, amps and pre-amps when I started noticing TMC
in a lot of systems. I bought the TMC because of the great reviews
and scores and I really liked the owner . King and I exchanged email
for about 3-4 months before I actually placed an order. He was very
helpful, very patient and quickly answered every question I had. TMC
has two interconnect cables and one type of speaker wire that you
can run single or run as a true bi-wire. One interconnect is for all
sources (analog and digital) to pre-amp. The other is for pre-amp to
amp. The yellow is the latter. Most companies have 3-5 levels of
wire. One day I asked King if he sold cable that would be good for
subs. He recommended the yellow.
Yesterday I hooked up all of the cable I had ordered to "burn in". I
put on a few dvd selections to help burn in the center channel and
subs. I put on Metallica's "S & M" dvd. This is one of the most
poorly mixed live recordings I've heard, but the thing rocks! I put
on chapter 8 of disc 1 and "No Leaf Colver" started playing. This
track starts with the string bass section, brass, and tymapni. From
the sub,I actually heard the attack of the stick hitting the tymapni
head. I also heard actual notes, tones, and decay from the tympani.
I never heard that before. I thought that it was bass guitar rumble
or something. I was very happy with the choice I made of buying the
TMC Yellow for my subs. I'm also happy with the way it's treated the
rest of my system. There is more detail and a lot of the harshness I
got with rock stuff and bright recordings has gone bye bye. TMC is a
great product and King is just a joy to do business with. I'm a
musician with the love for music and my stereo. TMC has made my
system and cd collection sexy again. I can't keep my hands off! Give

And I need to add that the customer service is beyond good. King at

Summary:
I use the yellow interconnect between my amp/pre-amp. I did a A & B
test with the cable I had been using, a Monster 950 I. I installed
the TMC cable so that I could burn it in for a couple hours. I
played a tape in my Nakamichi deck for the burn in session, but had
no intention to use tape for the listening test. SURPRISE & DELIGHT,
I was paying little attention to the music at this point but the
sound stopped me dead in my tracks. I suddenly realized that I was
hearing the top end far beyond what I had ever heard from that deck
ever before. I tried a couple other tapes of very high quality and
to my amazement, the upper end extension is at least 2000 Hz beyond
what I though the deck was capable of. The CD I used for the serious
listening test was " Trumpet Spectacular. " Doc Severinsen and the
Cincinnati, Ohio Pops Orchestra. This is a very high quality
recording made at Music Hall, excellent acoustics, in Cincinnati,
Ohio. I am also very familiar Doc, having covered him live on
several occasions and I have been to Music Hall in Cincy many times.
Well, it's all been said before in other reviews I have read, but
this cable is amazing.
The LOW END is deeper, richer, with fantastic clarity. The Monster
950 I is not in the same league. The Monster's base while deep, it
lacks the definition and it booms at you. The MID-RANGE is
outstanding. I can hear something I have never heard before on any
system. At one point in the recording, I can hear saliva flowing
through Doc's horn. I know that sound well, I have blown lots of
saliva out the spit valve, in my life. Your yellow cable is almost
neutral, it does not add or take away anything, just plain honest,
in my opinion. The High End extends more then ever before on my
system and what a pure sound. This cable is a remarkable
achievement, my JBL Professional Studio Monitors have never sounded
so good before. Oh yes, I want to mention I now have a wider sound
stage then ever before and the depth also amazing. This cable has
Slain the Monster!
Strengths:
Natural Sound with extended Bass & Hi End. THe company is great to
deal with. A bargain compared to other cables of lesser quality and
higher prices.
Weaknesses:
Cable very stiff, use caution when installing. It is sure worth the
extra effort.

most remarkable thing is the dead silence in the background. The
only weakness (if this is one and simply annoying) is that they are
soooo stiff that in tight areas they are almost unusable. I found
the TMC sales staff to be quite helpful before the actual purchase.
Oddly enough they stopped answering emails after the

Summary:
First, I must urge you to shop around. I needed 5 channels worth of
cable, for the front, center and rear of my home theater set up
(running one two channel and and one three channel amp). I bought my
first pair here on this site, for a grand total of $120. The seller
also included an audiophile-grade AC power cord (worth about $40)
that upgraded the power cord on my amp, so the first pair actually
cost $80. I bought a second pair on Audiogon for $110. I had to
contact the manufacturer to buy one single TMC Yellow interconnect
for my center channel. Since I participated in an Audiogon auction,
I got it for 1/2 the auction price, or $54.50.
I hooked the first pair up to the left and right front channels, and
listened to some quality recordings on CD: Diane Krall, James
Taylor, Alison Krauss, etc.). I immediately was able to percieve a
noticable difference. It is not so much that these cables have a
sound quality of their own. Rather, the lack of coloration is what
these cables have to offer. I heard elements in the music that I had
not previously noticed: vocal tones, instruments, sound stage
placement of musicians and vocalists.
These cables are an excellent upgrade, and I would suggest that they
are a fine addition to any mid to high end system. My equipment,
listed below, is of good quality, though certainly not the most
expensive available. However, I now beleive that cables do
contribute to a quality home entertainment experience. TMC Yellows
have been an excellent choice for me.

By accident I went to the Audiocom page and read the reviews about
the TMC cables. I was so convinced while reading the reviews that I
decided to go at the auction for a pair of speaker cables as well as
the white and yellow cables taking into account the "money back"
gurantee!
TMC provided an outstanding service in communication (a thing which
is rare in these days!) where you really felt being treated like a
customer.
Two weeks later the cables arrived and when unpacking I was
impressed by the outfit. They look like exotic posionous snake skin.
I started with the speaker cable and emmideatley noticed a far
deeper bass and they played well at lower volumes. Then I connected
the yellow`s and after the white. Knowing that cable (my oppinion)
need some burn in time I let my equipment play day and night. After
about 48 - 60 hours I noticed a remarkable improvement. My feet were
tapping, musicians where in my listening room, not only present but
also like their instruments were on the stage. When closing my eyes
I was absolutely impressed. No addition of colouration, the sound
was so real you could touch it. The balance between the hights, bass
and mids was perfect and the soundstage like 3 D.
I can only recommend to buy these cables. For the prices you can`t
get anything better. Recently I tried a combination of more
expensive cables (in the US $ 2.200 range) and noticed only some
minor improvements. So again... believe my recommendations and
believe TMC`s statement: "listening can be addictive!"

AZ Price Paid: $230 at audigon
Product Model Year:

Summary:
I purchased the white and yellow interconnects through Audigon based
purely on good reviews and the money back guarantee. My system is of
very high resolution, but it was not easy to listen to at high
volumes for long periods of time. I figured a change of interconnect
may do the trick. I received the cables exactly one week after
ordering and they arrived in perfect condition. The Music Cable
Company is very easy to deal with and King has been very courteous
with follow up e-mails. The build quality of the TMC’s is as good as
I have seen; professionally crafted and attractive.
I replaced my more expensive silver interconnects with the TMC’s and
my initial impression was disappointment! I had lost detail and
apparent dynamics. The TMC’s sounded dull in comparison. One thing
that I did notice though was a very musical, foot tapping
presentation that was much easier to listen to at high volumes. I
decided to give the TMC’s a chance because of these facts and run
them in, most of the time without me listening. After about a month
of listening on and off, my opinion of the TMC’s changed
dramatically! After critical listening on known material these were
my new conclusions. The TMC’s had opened way up and had become
significantly more transparent. The dullness had disappeared and
they sound incredibly natural. I thought I was imagining it and so
changed back to my silvers. It was not my imagination and the
silvers sounded almost unpleasantly harsh and thin, now I had got
used to the TMC’s. The balance now, I would describe as very
neutral. The TMC’s sound quite different to a lot of cables. They
are only make a noise when the music is playing, otherwise they are
silent. This sounds weird but TMC owners will understand. Reading
the online literature, I would imagine this is due to the excellent
screening effect of the solid jackets. The cables have incredible
space, separation and positioning qualities. I think this is because
there is less “junk” in the signal and so separation is easier to
hear. They are easily the most natural and musical sounding cables
that I have heard and I have been comparing and making cables for
over 20 years! I am now going to replace all my cables with TMC’s, I
am that impressed! I think I have finally found a cable that I can
be happy with long term and just enjoy the music for a change
(traditional audiophile problem). Remember, don’t form an opinion
until they are well run in as they get a lot better!
Strengths:
Once run in, performance compared to weaknesses and price, make
these cables a fabulous buy!
Weaknesses:
Due to inherent stiffness and smooth cable bend radius required, you
need around 5" clear min behind your equipment.

I got my TMC yellow and white label cables from audiogon, after
seaching for the right cable for 2 months. I have not used a fancy
cable such as Cardas Golden Reference, so I cannot make an absolute
judgement. But, this is the best product I have tested by far. They
are balacend over the entire frequency range; detail in the heighs,

Summary:
WOW.
I thought about making that single word my review. It does sum-up
this cable perfectly. I can honestly say that I've never been
blown-away by a cable before, and I've tried a bunch, but that is
exactly what this cable did to me. From the minute I installed these
quite attractive looking interconnects in place of my long-time
favorites, AudioQuest Diamond, and sat back to give a listen I
couldn't wipe the smile off of my face. Unbelievable. I had just
replaced $3,000 (when I bought them new) worth of cable with
approximately $250 (including shipping) worth of cable and I
couldn't believe what I was hearing. Now I don't want this review to
turn into a diatribe about how these cables are such a bargain for
the price, because they are so much more than that.
If you go to TMC's web site (WWW.The-Music-Cable.com) you will see
that the construction of this cable is a little different than any
other...at least that I know of. Like many other cables the main
signal conductor is copper (no, NOT silver), but that is where the
similarity to other cables out there ends. Instead of trying to
reduce skin effect (the most obviously audible result of bad - and
some good and very expensive - cable designs) by using multiple
gauges of wire and/or various weaving techniques, TMC has taken a
more simple, and, I think, more ingenious approach. In the core of
this very well insulated cable runs a single solid strand of
aluminum wire. Now anyone with even a basic knowledge of electricity
knows that aluminum is a very poor electrical conductor, so why use
it in an audio cable if passing an electrical signal is its raison
d'etre? Because this aluminum has been coated with a very thin layer
of copper, and it is the copper that acts as the conductor. This
arrangement has the advantage of virtually eliminating skin effect,
and that is quite evident once you start listening.
And listen I have. Huge, open, deep, and transparent soundstage,
very clean midrange and highs, extended and controlled low-end, and
great separation between instruments (this cable is a jazz-lovers
dream). Of course there are other cables out there that can provide
you with these attributes, but not with the degree of musicality
that the TMC's deliver. I've heard cables that make me feel like I'm
part of the recording, but I've always felt as though the
instruments didn't sound quite real. As though Miles was playing
through an amplifier in the studio…live, but still artificial. With
the TMC cables all of that changed. Listening to Relaxin' I closed
my eyes and could almost smell the brass and feel the spit. Now
that's music! I think I've finally found the "plus sign" to make my
audio system greater than the sum of its components. Like I said
before, WOW!

Summary:
I agree with previous reviewers that these are most remarkable in
all respects (including unbelivable price at this point). I just
wish to to add here that I was simply struck by how the soundstage
(and focus) improved in my system. It not only made (all) the walls
disappear, but somehow it extended towards the listening position,
adding this wonderful feeling of involvement.
Strengths:
Excellent in every respect, soundstage is outstanding

Summary:
These cables are absolutely wonderfull. They are warm, fast,
detailed, direct, with full, and transparent midrange. By the way,
the bass is as good as it gets. No "Burn in" period required. They
sound great right out of the box. I replaced a pair of very
expensive silver interconnects on my tube amp with these cables; I
have no regrets.

Every musical aspect

none

Product Model Year:

Summary:
A little softer sounding than the White Label. Designed for longer
runs from preamp to amp. Might be preferred to the White Label in
systems on the bright side.
These interconnects are real bargains. The tonal accuracy and 3-D
imaging are not accidental; these people know what they are doing.
The interconnects let the music shine through unlike all other
interconnects I have heard(other than the White Label). They don't
appear to have any sonic weaknesses. Right now they are being sold
through auctions such as audiogon.com for very low prices to get the
product and word out. The prices bid for them keeps going up. I
strongly suggest trying a pair before spending big bucks on inferior
interconnects. You don't know what you are missing, these are a real
treat that cost very little. One of those rare discoveries that
makes audio a fun and rewarding hobby.
My equipment:
Musical Fidelity X-Ray CD player
Musical fidelity P100 preamp
Meyersound HD-1 active studio monitors
2 Hsu Reseach 1220HO subwoofers w/500 watt amp
P.S. Power Plants & Lab Cables
Strengths:
The sound is wonderful. It is smooth, detailed, dynamic, tight bass,
3-d imaging. Well built with locking RCA's.
Weaknesses:
Stiff and balky.

Summary:
After installing the TMC cables the difference can be compared to
standing in a 1 foot deep by 20ft wide brook, (pretty but noisy -
the water being the music...) to floating over a mile-wide by 100ft
deep river (Very large and quiet soundstage with stronger emotions).
This kind of sums up the immediate sensation I got after I installed
these cables.
I have spent lots of time shopping for and testing many cables, but
none have improved the sound of my system the way the TMC cables
did.
I am looking forward to adding the TMC Speaker cables to my system,
I'm sure the river will only get wider, deeper and the water alot
clearer.

I bought two pair on ebay and I found them so good that I bought a
few more pairs. These cables are fantasic. Very high quality
workmanship and they look great.
I've found that the depth and detail in the soundstage was brought
to a much higher level when I hooked these up to my parasound cd
player. They seem to be able to bring out the music that I never
knew I was missing.
Great value and excellant quality cables that I would highly
recommend. |

Summary:
First off I like the stiffnes of the cables. Just make sure to get a
good length because they don't end up to be able to go as far as
other 1m interconnnects. I got these off ebay and for the price they
are untochable in sound quality. These are the first pre to power
cables I have used in my new system so I really can't write a good
review. I did just to make sure they weren't all hype try out a AR
and a 3 strand silver interconnect for a little while and the TMC
absolutly beat them but both of those are under $150. Overall I am
very satisfied. However I would like to see then make an XLR version
of this cable.

Summary:
Also see my detailed review on the TMC White Label Interconnects
here at audioreview.com.
I bought a yellow label - thicker conductor and slightly thicker
jacket - for my connection between amp and pre-outs. Wonderful
Cable!! Sounds great right out of the package . . . Quiet, Neutral,
and Very Musical. These are more dynamic then the Kimbers, yet more
nuetral and laid back then the Transparents, however the imaging is
still very good. The Transparents tend to be somewhat "bright",
while the Kimber seems to choke out some of the range. These cables
are a balance of the two - a more refined, and accurate sound; great
imaging (probably their best trait), and don't tend to add any "colors"
to the music. It beat the Monsters (one of their very best!) in
almost every area - sad to say, but most of the monster products are
not that great.
These cables offer better performance than several cables I have
paid hundreds more for. I got distinct and noticeable (like you can
HEAR a difference) improvements, and that's what its all about. You
pay big bucks for gear, and the cables and interconnects are an
extension of these components. Care should be used in testing
various cable brands and types to match the gear, environment, and
music you are trying to recreate. I typically A/B cables in an
effort to weed out the hype, and found these to be solid performers.
Highly recommended. Available at e-bay, audiogon.com and the
company's website.
Strengths:
Built to last - top quality materials and contruction.
Weaknesses:
A bit stiff to work with, but molds to the position you place them
in.
