"Stiff
Stiff Stiff"
(This
is not a sex talk.)
This is about a fact of life!!.......about design compromise.
Your choice:
Flexible cables??
or
True Music from your Hi Fi system.
Our cable is considered a bit "stiff" compared
to most other commercial Hi Fi cables,
because we dare to use solid
copper shielding to
completely eliminate the distortions that your ears are most sensitive to.
If you insist on flexible cables, your music will suffer!
As you will see from below
that "stiffness" in Hi Fi cable is only a psychological problem.
At worst it takes about 5 extra minutes to get used to during installation at
some tight spots.
"Stiffness" is
not an issue with our XLR/XLR interconnects, and our Gold Label Reference
Speaker cables,
as you can see from the photos there is a pig-tail between the
"stiff" cable and the termination.
One
thing to remember though, with "stiff" cables and locking RCA plugs,
please remember to remove the cables first before you move the equipments around.
The solid copper shielding is corrugated
to enable easy bending of the cable.

This makes our cables as
manageable as any other interconnects!! :-)
If you hold the cable with your hands 2” apart, you can carefully bend
the cable into 90 degree out side of the heat shrink label,
and with hands 4” apart you an bend it into sharper than 90 degree
(please see photos).

As long as you do not bend the cable back and
forth, over and over again, at the same spot,
our cables can withstand all the bending under normal Hi-Fi applications.
If you bend the cable
right at the end of the label, you need only about 4” (10 cm) of space
behind the equipment to use our cables.
(please see photos)
And if you
still have problems or questions about installation of our cables, please do
not hesitate to contact us.
